Power Cut Grounds CrossCountry Rail Services Across UK

A power cut at CrossCountry's Birmingham control centre on Sunday forced the cancellation of almost all train services across Great Britain, including routes from Glasgow to Edinburgh and Manchester to Birmingham. The transport secretary has asked publicly owned operators to provide extra services where possible.
