A 41-year-old man from Eastbourne died and at least six others were injured after a large sign fell at the Big Church festival near Steyning, West Sussex on Friday afternoon. Emergency services attended the scene, and the man was pronounced dead at the event.
Sara El-Khawas, 14, and her parents died after getting into difficulty while swimming off Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex. A younger girl remains in critical condition in hospital, and police confirmed the family had traveled from London for a swim.
