🐿️ The Squirrel's Take
The key twist is that the suspects were released on bail despite the terror investigation, with the PM defending the decision as grounded in experience.
💡 Why it matters
This incident raises concerns about foreign state interference on UK soil and the balance between security and civil liberties in terror probes.
Five British men were arrested near RAF Fairford after a resident reported suspicious vans; police found petrol but no explosives. The PM says there are strong indications Iran was involved, and the suspects were released on strict bail conditions.
