Trump signs order to limit childhood vaccines and split MMR shots
🐿️ The Squirrel's Take
This move ignores decades of public health data and could lead to more outbreaks of measles and other preventable diseases.
💡 Why it matters
By undermining CDC authority and spreading false links to autism, this order risks reversing herd immunity and endangering children's health across the US.
President Trump signed an executive order directing the CDC to revise the childhood vaccination schedule, including separating the MMR vaccine into three separate shots. The order also aims to reduce the total number of recommended vaccines for children, overriding CDC authority.
